The Donkey Derby takes place on Sunday 4th September as one of the many events at the Audlem RNLI Festival at Overwater Marina.

The six races start at 11am and are every 30 minutes.

The Donkey Derby is run by Stonehill Donkeys.

All the races and donkeys have sponsors, but some riders are still needed.

Riders

  • Must be between 8 and 15 years old, weighing no more than 51kg (8 stones).
  • Must wear their own hat or use one provided by Stonehill Donkeys.
  • Must wear suitable clothing and footwear (trousers and boots or stout shoes suggested).
  • Must have parent's or guardian's written consent on the entry form.

Entries are subject to a £2 donation per rider.

The Donkey Derby racecard is available at £1 (£2 on raceday).
