Work is to start on a major refit of the chemist in Cheshire Street in August and will take nearly a month to complete. Neighbours have been warned to expect some night noise as contractors gut the inside of the shop which was recently acquired by Boots Chemist.

Obviously the nature of the project, with such a short intense turn round, will create some local disturbance at certain stages. However, we have many years experience with works of this nature and have the control measures in place to limit disturbance as much as feasible."
