Cycle abandoned

A local resident has contacted AudlemOnline to report "Abandoned in an unusual place, one bicycle, close to the village centre. Would the owner contact local police community officer Nick Jarvis for details."

The bicycle was in found in the brook by the bridge on The Green this morning, Sunday. There was no sign of the rider and the water level was too low, we are told, "for the rider to have been washed downstream."
