Corrections and apologies

Two errors on AudlemOnline recently – apologies to all concerned.

Audlem Lass

One of the telephone numbers for enquiries about the Audlem Lass was given as 811440 (which happens to be Audlem Medical Practice) instead of 811400.

Church Bells

In the article about the music and arts festival, the church bells were described as being made of "an alloy of iron and tin". In fact, as has been pointed out by a reliable source, they are made of bell metal which is a 4:1 alloy of copper and tin.

These errors would of course not have occurred had our regular editor not been temporarily indisposed.
