Coole Lane resurfacing

There is to be some much-needed resurfacing work in Coole Lane, the popular route to Nantwich for many Audlem residents, particularly those living on the west side of the village.

The council's anotice says:

Closure Notice: The Coole Lane, Newhall from its junction with Baddington Lane/ Shrewbridge Road to its junction with Hollingreen Lane.*

The alternative route during the closure will be via; A530 Baddington Lane, Heatley Lane, Hollingreen Lane and vice versa.

The closure is necessary to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out carriageway resurfacing works.

It is anticipated that the works will be carried out on 7th, 8th, 11th, 12th February 2013; the road will remain open the weekend of 9th, 10th February 2013.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and vehicular access will be maintained for businesses, residents and emergency vehicles as far as possible.

*Hollingreen Lane is the second lane up from the southern end of Coole Lane at the Laurels and before you reach the Overwater Marina entrance when driving from Audlem.
