TV comedian Ade Edmondson has been down at the creamery filming part of his forthcoming TV series 'Ade in Britain'

Adrian, who is touring the country for a new food show called Ade in Britain, sampled the cheese at Joseph Heler Creamery at Laurels Farm, Hatherton, just outside Audlem, earlier this week

The writer, director, actor, and musician is probably best known for his comedy role as Vyvyan in the TV series The Young Ones and in Bottom which he co-wrote with his long-time collaboration partner Rik Mayall.

The 20-part TV series 'Ade in Britain' is touring the country visiting traditional food producers in each county. Joseph Heler is featured as part of the Cheshire episode which focuses on the company's traditional white, coloured and blue Cheshire cheeses.

You will have to wait to see what Adrian made of the Cheshire cheesemaking plant though – the series is not due to be broadcast until November

Joseph Heler picked up a top award at this year's Cheshire Show with their winning cow Roz (full name Helton Damion Roz) which took first prize in the 'Junior Heifer in Milk' category and 'Interbreed Heifer in Milk' Champion award.

They also picked up five medals for their Cheshire cheeses with gold medals for their Traditional White Cheshire and Coloured Cheshire Top Hat; a silver for their Farmhouse Cheshire Cheese and bronze medals for their Speciality Hard Blue and for their Coloured Cheshire Top Hat mature Cheshire cheese.
