Clarification of A529 closure

A reader reports on chatbox:-

A few moments ago I talked to Ross Brodie of Mouchel, the man in charge of the road works on the A529 near Adderley.

He tells me that the delayed opening of the road from 5pm to 6pm reported in Monday's Chat box was a 'one-off' – although it has happened twice – caused by late delivery of material, and is not on-going.

He can see no reason why it should happen again, and the road will continue to be re-open at 5pm until the work is complete,
