Good news, O fun lovers of Audlem!

The fabulous ADCA Charity Race Night is back! And sooner than you think!

Guess what!
Fairy dust has been sprinkled around to have it show up in the SPRING CALENDAR and bring us some proper cheer before the Easter Bunny even thinks of getting his lollopers on!

Word is already getting out, so book your tickets ASAP for a fantastic evening of fun having a flutter while raising much needed funds for the benefit of ADCA – Audlem & District Community Action! (Who's that? See here: https://adca.audlem.org))

• Where: Audlem Public Hall

• Who: Over 18’s only!

• Time: Course gates open 7pm; First race 7.30pm. Don’t be late!

• Tickets: £14pp (includes supper! Tell us if you have specific dietary requirements)

• Drinks available from The Pegasus Bar

Order your tickets early!

You can pre-book tickets right now by calling Geof Clarke on 07961 149666 (good idea if you want to fill a table of 8 with friends and family!).

Tickets can also be obtained from the ADCA office in the Annexe on Wednesdays and Fridays between 10 and 12 noon.

Why not be a racehorse owner?

When you buy your tickets, a fiver can get you the privilege of owning and naming (suitably hilariously!) a horse and jockey. Of course, more fivers will get you more horses and jockeys (if they haven’t already been snaffled up)! The names you give them will appear in the official programme.

If any of ‘your’ horses win their race, you will get a jolly nice bottle of wine, whether you also bet on that win or not!

How it all works on the night

The Brothers Grim are Clerks of the Course for the night. (This is not a joke.)

They will bring us a packed programme of 9 nail-biting races on their super-sized screen (12ft x 6 ft = BIG!), so wherever you are seated you will be able to follow every last ‘by-a-nose’ win – as well as every tragic tumble.

There will be a welcome supper break in the middle – delicious Pie, Mash and Peas coming your way. And Pudding! (Let us know when you order/buy your tickets if you have specific dietary requirements)

Place your bets with our experienced bookies before each race - but do remember – bets must be made in cash! We cannot take electronic bets.

Plan ahead and make sure you have enough cash with you. (Fortunately, The Pegasus Bar will accept card payment for your drinks)

The Last Chance Saloon Race will be an Auction Race.

The 8 contending steeds will be separately auctioned off to the highest individual
(or syndicate) bidder.

The owner(s) of the winning horse will receive HALF of the TOTAL bid proceeds for this race! Yes, you read that right.

This means that, the more you bid, the more you win!!! YESSS!

And did we mention that there will be a RAFFLE? Of course there will!
