







We are a small, independent cemetery, overseen by members of Parish Councils and the community. We now have a vacancy for an enthusiastic individual to look after the day to day running of our operation. This is a hands-on role, which will suit an individual living locally or able to visit the cemetery regularly.
This role will look after all of the financial aspects of the operation, as well as bookings and administration of all interment events. It will also involve the overseeing of the maintenance of the grounds, including staff members and volunteers, ensuring that the cemetery is well maintained whilst operating within budgetary constraints.
You ll take responsibility for maintaining records of plots, allocations, preparation for interments and associated administration as well as financial aspects including payment of invoices and wages and monitoring and reporting spends. Computer skills, especially spreadsheets, will be essential, as well as general administration skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships. Specific training and support will be provided.
The role will work an average of 8 hours per week and receive an annual salary of 7,500. Applications by CV to audlem.cemetery@gmail.com
