Carnival today

A reminder that alongside all the fun of the Festival it is also Audlem Carnival today.

As our story from Ralph Warburton said during last week: "I am delighted to present our Carnival Queen and her retinue for this year.

"As seen in our photograph, taken by Phil Baker, we have all three from St James' Primary School. And we are even more delighted that we have a Carnival Prince for the first time ever.

Our Queen is Jenna Louise Gavin aged 11, with Princess Amber May Riley, aged 10 and Prince Jake Ian Gardiner, aged 11.

They will all be in attendance on Carnival Day, Bank Holiday Monday 30th May and the crowning will be at 1.00pm.

A great day for all three and for all who come along on the day.

We have many stalls offering their wares, Beat the Goalie by The Audlem Youth Club, Punch & Judy, Dance exhibition by Pritchard's School, full refreshments and a super raffle with over 20 prizes.

And all free!"
