Each year Carers UK hold a Carers Rights Day to bring organisations across the country together to help carers in their local community know their rights and find out how to get the help and support they are entitled to.
This year's National Carers Rights Day is on Friday 25 November and this year's theme is, 'Missing out? Know your rights as a carer'
If you are caring for someone at the moment and would like to find out more about your rights and how to get help, Audlem Carers Support Group is holding a Carers Rights Day event at its Tuesday Coffee Morning on the 22nd November between 10am and 12noon at the Lord Combermere in Audlem Square.
A free Carers Rights Guide will be available for all local carers along with advice and support from other local carers and ADCA volunteers.
When you're caring, getting the right information and support at the right time can make all the difference. Caring can be complicated, whether we're grappling with the benefits system or considering how to fund future care costs.
So please do feel free to drop in for coffee and biscuits. You will be made most welcome.
