Adults, children and canine companions are invited to The Dorothy Clive Garden on Sunday 24th July 2016 in support of the Pug Dog Welfare Association.
This fun-packed day will kick off at 10.00am until 5.00pm and include a variety canine of entertainment, activities and stalls.
Enjoy a doggy treasure hunt called 'Toto's Treasure Trail'; a dog show including 'best sausage catcher'; fancy dress and 'best young handler'; a police dog demonstration; pet MOTS with the PDSA; dog related talks and lots of canine related stalls.
Lots of fun for dog lovers and all the family. Free for Dogs!
Police Dog, Emma, will star at the event. Emma, who is a 3 year old yellow Labrador Retriever, is part of the Passive and Pro Active Drugs and Firearms Recovery Dog Unit in Stoke-on-Trent and will take part in a drugs recovery display on the day.
Police Constable Julie Hargreaves, (a Passive / Pro Active Drugs and Firearms Recovery Dog Handler)
from the Dog Support Unit at Longton Police Station Stoke-on-Trent said: "I will be attending with Emma who will be demonstrating how to look & search for drugs and firearms. It will give event visitors a close up and interesting insight into the world of Police search and rescue dogs & the amazing work they do."
There will also be a great selection of delicious refreshments on offer at the garden tea room.
Admission to this special fundraising event is only £3.50 for Adults and £2 for children (dogs, children under 5 and garden members go FREE!)
Dog water stations will be available and all dogs must be on a lead.
