Canal Leak
Between Locks 10 and 11 there has been a leakage sending water down the stream in Turnpike Field.
This has eroded a substantial part of the canal bank (opposite side to towpath), which is to be refilled and the bank made safe for boats to navigate.
Currently there are Canal and River trust employees and volunteers guiding boats through – the lock gates are closed and padlocked from 1600 to 0900, ie overnight.
