Canal history walk today

A reminder that the Audlem District History Society has arranged a walk along the canal with guide Graham Dodd for this afternoon, June 15th. The walk leaves from Audlem Wharf.

The first part of the walk will be from 1.30 to 2.30pm heading south from the village and then returning.

Part 2 from 2.30 to 3.00pm will be refreshments at the Shroppie Fly.

Part 3: from 3.00 to 4.00pm will be a walk north from the village and then returning.

We would welcome non members particularly locals and those whose ancestors worked on the canal or had some other connection.

Graham is keen to collect knowledge as well as impart it. We start from the Wharf each time. Refreshments not included but there is no charge and people could join in for just one half if they want.
