Calling all Local Charity Fundraisers!

As a local charity fundraiser for the Donna Louise trust, I was intrigued by a big cheque on a wall at our local Indian restaurant up at Hankelow. 

I asked the owner about it and was delighted to hear that for every pound raised by any local charity group, the restaurant would match it.  He went on to explain that on one occasion, a quiz and raffle brought in £380 of funds which resulted in a cheque for £760 going to help sufferers from Motor Neurone Disease. 

The local Support Group of the Donna Louise Trust now plan to hold a charity night there in late Spring.

Why not give this a try? It’s a great way to raise much-needed funds for local charities in what can only be described as a difficult market for all and, at the same time, support one of our local businesses.
