Buy/sell difficulties

Since January 2013, nearly 2000 items for sale have been placed in the buy/sell section of AudlemOnline.

Clearly we have no way of knowing how successful the service has been in terms of items actually being sold, although the presumption is that there must be some degree of success or the regular users would not keep coming back for more.

However, a chatbox item on Tuesday highlighted the need for advertisers to respond to enquiries, and to ensure that sold items are removed from the site promptly.

If you have enquired about an item and have received no response for more than a week, please let us know (identifying the item concerned by its description and the date it was advertised) and we will attempt to check that enquiries are getting through to advertisers properly and, if so, asking why no response has been given.

It may be that there is some "glitch" in the system that we would be unaware of until specific cases can be investigated.
