Another Busy Week!

Our Year 4 children returned from their Delamere adventure on Thursday afternoon full of exciting stories about their residential. Mr Perry, Mrs Spooner and Miss Morris ensured that they have packed lots of interesting activities into both days and the children were full of exciting recounts of their visit.

It was wonderful to see their teamwork and excitement during their campfire and night walk activities. They were all wonderful ambassadors for our school and we are very proud of them all.

Year 6 visited Newcastle College's science department on Wednesday. This year the visit was increased to a whole day, enabling the class to cover the full range of STEM activities. The children had a wonderful time programming Lego models and undertaking triple science experiments.

On Thursday morning, Year 3 held their Amber Class assembly for parents & carers. Amber class were able to share some of their work in an unorthodox manner and family members expressed enjoyment with the unexpected audience participation; "a brilliant assembly and great fun"!

We welcomed Year 5 parents and carers to school to join their children for lunch on Thursday. It was wonderful to see the children sharing lunch and playtime with their relatives. Thanks to Mrs Gavin for providing the delicious food and to all of the Mid Day Assistants who do a wonderful job organising everyone and clearing everything up.
