Audlem Voices are practicing hard for a busy summer ahead. Their next concert will be as part of the Music Festival weekend when they will again be performing a free concert in St James Church on the Saturday evening. The programme will include a wide array of items, many of which will be familiar to the audience, and which will demonstrate the choir's ability to tackle different musical genres.

The choir are also establishing a reputation for performing at weddings, typically to accompany the signing of the register, and have several booked over the summer months.

The next big concert after the music festival weekend will be the regular October performance in St James Church, usually well attended by villagers and visitors alike and a wide variety of music will be on display.

Audlem Voices, under the leadership of their charismatic Musical Director Jenny Collis-Smith, has grown from small beginnings to a choir of around 35 voices and is currently enjoying their highest male membership for some years. However, new voices be they soprano, alto, tenor or bass are always welcome and a warm welcome is guaranteed. The choir has no voice test for new entrants and includes members with a wide variety of musical expertise.

If you enjoy singing and making music then Audlem Voices is for you
