Burglar alert!

There was an attempted break-in at house in a cul de sac on the western side of Audlem on Monday afternoon at about 5.00pm

A male teenager, thought to be about 14 years of age, with dark curly hair and tall, was seen behaving suspiciously in a quiet road and was approached by a local resident. The youth did not answer when asked what he was doing.

Later, a neighbouring property was found to have a damaged gate where somebody was trying to gain access. The police have been to investigate and would welcome any information if you saw suspicious activity.
