Jane and Pete Marshall write: "Our small box trailer was stolen from our field (the corner of Mill Lane and the Whitchurch Road) between Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon. It is quite distinctive and made of fibre glass with an unusual 'planked' effect on the sides. It is off white and approx 6ft 6 inches long 4 ft high and 4ft wide. It has a single axle and an up and over back door. At the time of the theft it had no number plate and the offside lights were not working. "Unfortunately for us there were the props and costume for our Victorian School play inside. This included various bits of Victorian costume and a large wicker trunk full of all sorts of important although not valuable (in money terms) props."
