The Lights go on Tonight Tonight the ADAS Christmas lights will be switched on by the Rushton Family. Graham and Angela Allinson, owners of the tree plantation, will also be present on the night.


All the shops will be open late, with many treats for those coming along  on the night.


#Switch On Event Programme
5.45pm – Audlem School pupils assemble at Audlem School (Main Hall) for the Santa Parade.


6.10pm – All other children wishing to join the parade- assemble Highfield Avenue school gate


6.15pm – Santa Parade leaves Audlem School via Highfield Avenue


6.25pm – Santa Parade arrives Audlem Square


6.30pm – The "Big Switch On" – by VIP guests the Rushton family (this year's tree sponsors) and accompanied by the Allison family (the tree suppliers). The fifty smaller trees throughout the village will also be switched on.


7.05pm – Santa arrives Audlem Wharf aboard the Audlem Lass.


7.15pm – Santa leaves Audlem Wharf to take residence in his grotto in Williams Newsagents


FROM 6.00pm Onwards – Village Late night Shopping – please support your local traders!


The FASA tombola – under the Buttermarket


FROM 6.35pm Onwards – Light your special 'wish' or 'memory' candle on Audlem Wharf (Shroppie Fly) – each candle costs £1 with proceeds to support the RNLI. The target is to light up the canalside with 350 candles!


Post your Santa letters in The Golden Post Box inside Audlem Post Office – proceeds to support FASA


Hoc's Fat Pigeon drop off point for Salvation Army grocery hampers (tins and dry food only please!)


FROM 7.30pm Onwards – Visit Santa in his grotto in Williams Newsagents


FROM 9.30pm Onwards – In the Lord Combermere we have the very, very special  Rainband playing – along with a potential appearance from Rowetta from X Factor.
