The Big Switch On

Tomorrow, Friday

• From 5 pm FASA, the parent fundraising group from Audlem School, will have a tombola stall under the Buttermarket.
• At 5 pm Launch a wish candle from the wharf – remember someone dear to you
• At 6.10 pm Santa will arrive on the beautiful Audlem Lass at the wharf and make his way up to the Square.
• At 6.20 pm The lights on the Big tree will be switched on
• At 6.25 children from St James School will sing Carols on the Church steps
• Santa's Grotto opens at 6.45pm

This year's Switch-on is sponsored by Philippa Butler and Ceri Parsons and the tree has been donated by Angela and Graham Allinson.

The shops will be open for people to buy their Christmas presents so come along and enjoy the fun!

Audlem Mill

Come along to Audlem Mill on Friday evening for a wide range of gifts for all the family – there's something for everyone, from "Gifts in a Tin" for children and adults, to lovely animal doorstops, needlework kits, exclusive Wentworth wooden jigsaw designs, and stocking filler toys. Also on at the Mill is an exhibition by Fiona Nisbet from Burleydam. Originally due to end in early November, the exhibition has been extended into December; it features a selection of practical and decorative woven and knitted fabric items. Together with this, we also have a range of embroidered pictures by Audlem's premier textile artist – just come and see!
