AudlemOnline has received several reports about the bi-plane performing stunts – a whole series of spectacular ones, we are told – over Audlem.
The first sighting reported to us by Christine Johnson was viewed from the playing field and the performance was over the eastern fringes of the village.
Bejeweled added on Chatbox: "We would just like to say "thank you" to the little yellow biplane that has been doing a brilliant air display above our house the last two days.
"It has been fantastic to watch and it would be interesting to know if you are practising for a show or you are just out having fun?"
Instead of the Google photo that might or not be the plane in question, we now have the real thing from David Pudney.
He says: "Here is a picture of the actual plane flying over Audlem. It is a Pitts S-2E, I hope he comes back as well.
"You can perform the same stunts with the radio controlled model version of this aircraft by joining the recently formed Audlem Radio Control Club........ meeting tonight, Sunday 7th December, at 7.00pm at The Shroppie Fly.
