Beware broadband scam calls

I just wanted to put out an alert about a scam call supposedly from BT stating that my broadband was about to be cut off due to illegal activity.

I was told that they would need me to be at one of my devices so they could walk me through what I needed to do. this would have been when they would have tried to achieve access to my device.

I contacted BT who confirmed it was a scam and they had lots of customers contacting them.

Don' t be fooled by the urgency in the voice of the caller hoping to trick you into falling for their scam.
