Below The Parapet

Yesterday we reported an accident which had occurred on the Stafford St Bridge.

Many thanks to Roy Plume who sent us these photographs of the considerable damage done to the parapet and the large stone blocks now in the river and banks – including an Ordnance Survey sign.

The top photo looks down from St. James Church in the direction of Stafford Street towards the bridge
