Ringing for Nan Campbell and Tom Lowe

At last the Covid restrictions are relaxed enough to allow limited ringing of Audlem's six bells on practice nights and Sunday mornings.

On Thursday evening, local ringers rang a quarter peal -- a performance taking about 40 minutes -- in celebration of the lives of Nan Campbell and Tom Lowe, Audlem residents who died during the pandemic and had funeral donations offered to Audlem Bell Restoration Appeal.

Details of the ringing have been published on the Bell Board website (see here ) and will be printed in The Ringing World. The ringers are very grateful for the ABRA donations -- and to the person who came up to us in the pub afterwards to say how good it was to hear the bells again!
