A case of Avian Influenza outbreak has been reported close to the village,
The advice is
- All poultry keepers to house their birds and apply high levels of security.
- No visitors to birds .
- Disinfectant foot bath at entrance to bird housing.
- Wear clean overalls when handling birds.
If diagnosed as high risk category for Covid best to wear a mask when attending birds as avian influenza can cause respiratory conditions in humans.
