There were street parties in various parts of Audlem – those on Saturday generally did better with the weather than on the Sunday.
Thankyou to the various readers who sent in pictures of the events.

Salford residents held their Royal jubilee party on Friday afternoon and were delighted to welcome the three Gentlemen of Salford to join in the celebration.
Namely, (left to right in the picture, for newer arrivals) Bob Roberts, Bill Campbell and Dr Michael Thornton who, like his father before him, looked after the health and wellbeing of villagers for many decades.
The weather held fair and a celebratory atmosphere prevailed.

The weather was very reminiscent of the original event in 1953.....
Earthquake survivors (see article here ) made light of adverse weather conditions to celebrate Platinum Jubilee.
Many people involved in setting up (and dismantling!) this event, but particular thanks must go to hosts Laura & Stuart Furber.

We had 50+ of the residents of Tollgate Drive, Armstrong Close, Oaktree Gate & Gemmul Close join in and it was a great success and everyone enjoyed the jubilee pudding.
