Audlem Saints win by single goal

Audlem Saints continued their run of victories on Sunday with a 1-0 win over Alsager. In a game dominated by Audlem, many chances came and went before one was finally tucked home. The goal was a product of good work from Audlem's central midfielder who made a powerful run forward before squaring from the touchline.

Next weekend is a big challenge for the boys. Currently sitting in third place with a game in hand, they play two games. The game in hand will be played on Saturday and a win would take Audlem Saints joint top. The second game is on Sunday, and is against the current leaders. Two victories would see Audlem Saints go 3 points clear at the top of the table with just 2 games to play.
