Audlem Ramblers Walk 9th March

Peter Kay is leading our next Long ARS walk at Apedale Heritage Centre. Meet Audlem Car Park for departure at 8.30 am.

Start point:-

The walk is from the Apedale Heritage Centre. Use this Chesterton postcode to get to Loomer Road and follow on to the Centre. ST5 7LB.

Walk details:-

It is 8.5 miles long with 900ft of climbing. It goes through 3 CommunityParks, Apedale, Bateswood and Silverdale. There is some road walking but much of it is on good or reasonable woodland tracks. We start at 8.30 from the Public Hall car park.

NB All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.


Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.

Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
