A lucky 13 Audlem Ramblers were ably led by Bryan Clydesdale on a 9 mile walk last Saturday.
Unfortunately, it was the Eisteddfod weekend – fortunately that was being held on Zoom. (It was still a pretty busy town!)
Also unfortunately, we didn't hear a single train on the local heritage railway – in the past we have heard, seen and even smelled the steam trains.
Apparently the company/charity went into liquidation during Covid last summer, and is only just starting to run steam trains in early August.
