The mystery of the Public Hall's old piano has attracted a few comments on the Chatbox.


If you were confused, help came at lunchtime today via the BBC's Jeremy Vine Show on Radio2. Broadcasting to the nation – and Vannessa Feltz who is stand in for Jeremy Vine this week – a full explanation of the local piano's fate was told.


In a piece about pianos, Bill Gibbons regailed the nation with the tale of disaster that followed an attempt by him and his mate Steve to transport the old piano from the Public Hall to Billy's home in Green Lane.
