Audlem Music Festival update

Ralph Warburton has contacted Audlem Online to say that a meeting yesterday agreed that during the Audlem Festival from May 25th to May 28th, a performance of free open-air staged music in the village will go ahead on the Sunday and Monday (27th & 28th). It will include a wide range of music to suit all tastes, embracing music that covers all genres.

Bands playing will be both the young ones and those of more mature years.

Blues Alley will, it is hoped, go ahead. Now is the need to pull together publicity and the programme for the printers – in a new format. And a drive is planned to gain as much in sponsorship for this happy and popular event – which adds so much to the numbers of vistors and thereby the spending in Audlem.

Carnival news will be provided soon after the next meeting to plan the whole Festival and Carnival weekend.
