The building work at the practice is going well and progress is good. We are at the point now where the builders are breaking through into the Practice building and therefore we are losing a lot of space internally (about 1/3 of the building at the back) As a result of this we will be closing for 1 hour every day from 1.00pm -- 2.00pm for lunch starting on Monday 18th February. We anticipate that this will be for about 3 months until the project is complete.
However we have recently had a set-back – a concerned resident has reported our builders' use of the car park to Cheshire East Council and as we are unable to fund the charge they are now demanding (which runs into thousands of pounds) the builders are having to move the items that are currently on the car park onto the Practice grounds, which will make the progress of the build slower due to limited space on the site.
We would like to apologise to our patients for the delay this will cause to the completion date of our building and the consequent impact on the Practice and the patients.
We would like to thank our patients for their understanding and support whilst we endeavour to improve our facilities to better care for the people in and around Audlem.
Many thanks
Diana
Mrs Diana Ryan
Practice Manager
