Audlem Lass this weekend

A reminder that it's a very pleasant trip along the canal on Audlem Lass from Lock 15 to the Overwater Marina.

There's the coffee shop at the marina for refreshments and you can take either a return trip on the Lass or walk one way via Bridge 80 and sail the other.

It's just £1 per trip for adults and 50p for children and dogs and pushchairs can be carried for free.

The over 4,000 passengers a year raise very welcome funds for the RNLI, the lifeboat charity, and Audlem Lass has proved a popular service for visitors, residents and boaters at the marina now for five years.

Audlem Lass is crewed by a team of fully trained volunteers.
