Audlem Lass will be plying the canal again this weekend between Lock 15 at the bottom of the Audlem Locks and the Overwater Marina.

This will be the third weekend of this new attraction on the Shropshire Union canal at Audlem. The boat is operated by a team of local volunteer coxswains and donations collected go to the RNLI, the lifeboat charity.

The first two weekends, both Bank Holidays, saw an amazing start to this service with over £700 collected in donations and 873 passenger trips. The service gets underway from 11.00am today and on Sunday.

There's a maximum of twelve passengers per trip.
