Audlem FC Report

A shortened report on our game on the 22nd, because, I was to drive to Liverpool airport with my son and granddaughters for their flight to Spain.
Set off at 1430. Arrived Liverpool at 1600. Then it took me over 2 hours to get back, arriving just after kick off at 1830. Referee had decided we play 40 minutes each way as light poor around 2000 hrs. Opponents were Haslington F C

Miserable misty rain all the game. BUT the result was not miserable!!

We score 1-0 By Nathan MisKelly, and an assist by Mark Parker – 2-0 as Trev McDowell scores from a rebound shot by Ben Spruce as he hits their goalie.

Then 3-0!! As Charles Rose fires in a beautiful 35 yard looping shot right into the top corner.

Then they score 3-1

Referee awards a penalty to the opposition 3-2
Second goal by Charles Rose 4-2
And they win another penalty 4-3

And full time. – A great result for us against a strong team. All troop off to the Lord C for the chip butties.

Next game away at Sandbach versus White Lion F C on the 26th
