The next speaker to give a talk to the Audlem History Society is Bill Pearson on the subjectof "The Worleston Dairy Institute – a world-famous institution".

Bill will present his talk at 7.30pmon Thursday 19th October, 2023, at the usual venue of the Scout and Guide Hall, Audlem.

Bill, who lives in Nantwich, has worked in the food and farming sector for most of his life, 17years in the Agricultural Development & Advisory Service, and 19 years at Reaseheath College.

The pioneering Worleston Dairy Institute transformed the dairy industry, quickly gaining aworldwide reputation, but the story has largely been forgotten. Bill's talk will aim to reinstate its importance.

All are welcome, including visitors (who are asked to pay £4 on the door please).

Refreshments are available after the talk.
