Audlem Cemetery – 150 years

The planned celebration of Her Majesty's Platinum anniversary and our 150th year.

As reported recently, we will be planting some 40 trees -- aimed at pollinators -- this autumn .

The response from those wishing to have a tree as a marker for a lost loved one has been strong.

As such we have only 5 trees left not taken as a family tree .

The nursery will deliver the trees around the first week of October and we will then set about planting them alongside the paths in the new area to the far end of the grounds . It is the plan that each tree will have a dedication in the form of a small plaque on a stem, but that aspect is down to each mourner.

We will keep all posted as the days go by .
