Audlem Bowling News: Regional Selection and Season Success

It has been a busy start to the year at Audlem and District Bowling Club, with local talent already making their mark both at home and across the county.

Ian Forster Selected for the Norman Ford Classic
The club is delighted to announce that Ian Forster has been selected to represent Audlem at the prestigious Norman Ford Classic.

This invitation-only event, held by the North Shropshire Crown Green Bowling Association (NSCGBA), features an elite field of just 32 players. The knockout competition honors the memory of Norman Ford and raises funds for charity. We wish Ian the very best of luck as he takes to the green!

When: Sunday, 12th April at 10:00 AM

Where: Prees Bowling Club, Brades Road (SY13 2DX)

Season Opener: The Friendly Doubles
The 2026 season kicked off in spectacular fashion on Sunday, 8th March, with 36 players competing in the Friendly Doubles. In a nail-biting final that saw the scores deadlocked at 6-across, Andy Watson and Geof clinched the first trophy of the year.

Calling All Members: Dave Hickson Doubles
Following the success of the season opener, the bar has been set high for our next internal competition. This event is open to all members:
