Audlem 2013 Events leaflet being printed

The 2013 Audlem Events leaflet is now being printed and will be distributed to local outlets and nearby Tourist Information Centres in the near future.

This year's leaflet is kindly sponsored by the Overwater Marina.

It's the third year that an Events leaflet has been produced by the Audlem Parish Plan Community Projects team. While a series of local walks have been featured alongside the Events in the previous two years, the 2013 publication focusses on the large programme of major events that are such a highlight of the Audlem year.

The various organisations that lay on the events – ASET (Audlem Special Events Team), ADAS (Audlem District Amenities Society) and the Audlem Festival committee are all featured while readers are encouraged to check out AudlemOnline for updates and further details on all that happens in the village.

The illustrations show six of the twelve pages. The front cover, shown top right (this is from the proof and before the leaflets are folded concertina style) is Steve Hyder's splendid shot of the village centre taken from the top of St James' church. Photos by many Audlem photographers have also been used in the publication.

The interactive map from AudlemOnline has been adapted for print while the copy emphasises how Audlem has won many awards in recent years and a selection of local attractions as well as, of course, the programme of major Events. All very good reasons to visit the village and enjoy what is on offer.
