ARS enjoyed a splendid weekend in Barmouth for their annual trip.
As can be seen from the top photo the B walk (upgraded half way through to B+ by an unscheduled detour along a high ridge) enjoyed a carefree saunter with panoramic views, whereas the C walk (see below) fought their way through atrocious conditions along the estuary.
The only jarring note came when almost the entire group were forced to watch a humiliating rugby display, only enjoyed by a solitary Welsh ARS member (who may very likely be blackballed at the next ARS committee meeting) and his loyal almost-Welsh lady wife.
