ARS Wednesday walk

Wednesday 29th October

The next Wednesday Ramble is on the 29th October and will be led by Peter Jackson, meeting time is 09.30 a.m. in the Town Hall Car Park.

The walk will head towards Monks Lane and Sparrow Spout Lane leading to Longhill Lane, which will bring us to Hankelow and a short break by the pond, so please bring your refreshments.

We will then make our way to Hankelow Mill, then head for the canal tow path back towards The Shroppie.

The walk is mainly lanes and only 3 stiles, mileage is a total of 5 miles. The route could be muddy in parts, so wear boots.

NB. All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.

Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.

Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
