Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) members enjoyed their first Long ARS walk of the year with a 10.5 mile, 1800 feet ascent ramble in Wales on Sunday.

As they are affiliated to the Ramblers Association, Audlem Ramblers are organising group walks of up to 20 people whilst observing the Covid guidelines for social distancing, Track and Trace etc.

  • Overlooks Ceiriog Valley – great walking area
  • Site of Battle of Crogen 1165 Henry II King of England v. Owain Gwynedd
  • Birth place of Billy Meredith (former Manchester City AND United player – early 1900s
  • Pont Cysyllte aqueduct nearby
  • Offas Dyke
