ARS raises a glass

It was the ARS Christmas Dinner at the Lord Combermere yesterday evening, described by ARS chairman Christine Johnson as the social highlight of the Audlem year.

Before the main festivities of the evening began, however, all ARS members joined Jean Stainthorpe, ARS Treasurer, in raising a glass to absent ARS member Bob Cartwright, and wishing him well in recovering from his recent major operation and a speedy return home .
