ARS AGM & NWAA

... acronyms to fit Title!

At Audlem Ramblers recent Annual General Meeting, a representative from North West Air Ambulance (a charity) was our guest speaker.

In the AGM held at the Lord Combermere (many thanks for a very enjoyable evening!), there were 2 presentations:-

• to Peter Jackson for his achievement in introducing a regular Wednesday walk around the village which has proved very popular
• and a donation to ASET (represented by Lynne and Andrew Smith)

North West Air Ambulance Charity

NWAA is life saving service that is crucial to many communities, especially rural ones, gave a very interesting and well delivered presentation about their services – it was very well received.

They were also grateful to the two ARS members who shared their personal experiences of needing the NWAA those real-life stories are truly powerful.

They gave their sincere thanks to all ARS members for their generous donation and said that they genuinely couldn't lift off the ground without the support of the local communities like Audlem who they serve.

They asked if we could to publicise the fact that they would be more than happy to support any future presentations with other groups who may enjoy hearing more about their dedicated air ambulance service or any relevant local events.
