Around Audlem Volunteers

A few weeks ago I put out a plea on AudlemOnline for people to help deliver the parish's newsletter, Around Audlem, throughout the village and its surrounding areas.

I am delighted to report that several individuals volunteered, for which I am grateful. However, Audlem's Scout Group also offered their services -- and I have accepted their offer.

It means that our young people will deliver the newsletter four times a year, going out in whatever weather is thrown at them! As their Leader explained, it is the sort of job that Scouts like to take on to help their community.

My copy of the newsletter dropped on the mat this morning -- so it all seems to be working!

Seriously though, Scouts, thank you very much. Your offer is really appreciated. (Thanks too, to the volunteers who delivered the newsletter over the last few months. You can now stand down!)
