Another Award for Audlem

A few months ago, we announced that Abacus Designs, the needlework shop at Audlem Mill, had been selected as one of four contenders for the Stitch Retailer of the Year in the North West of England in the prestigious national British Craft Awards.

The results were recently announced at the annual needlework trade show at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, and Audlem Mill was the runner up – quite a considerable success for a needlework shop in a rural village, and one that only opened a few years ago.

We now draw people from a large area who are pleased with our personal service. May we thank all those who voted for us. We are completely blown away by the huge support we have received.

Next year, we are aiming for first place, but obviously cannot do this without our customers' continuing support. Please come along to the first floor needlework shop at Audlem Mill, and see the amazing selection of threads, kits, fabrics, knitting yarn, rag rugs, accessories and much, much more.
