Audlem Cycling Club celebrated their first anniversary with a cold and windy yet dry ride yesterday. The route took in three counties in a figure of eight route from Audlem to Norton in Hales and then Knighton (for the first time). Then it was on to Gravenhunger and Madeley before turning south to Baldwins Gate and then to the furthermost southerly point on the ride at Wetwood and Fair Oak – just check out this route and you'll feel tired just looking at Google Earth or the road atlas!

It was then homewards to Loggerheads and back to Knighton for the second time and up to Pipe Gate before the final leg via Woore to Audlem.

Tim Ball is the person to contact if you are interested in joining the club or want more information. He can be contacted at timball@hollycot22.freeserve.co.uk">timball@hollycot22.freeserve.co.uk

The club is currently formalising its membership and is looking to have its own kit produced and a website.
