Agenda For Parish Council Meeting

Parish Council MEETING MARCH 2020

The Parish Council will be meeting on Monday 2nd March at 7.30pm in the Methodist Church on Shropshire Street. We welcome our residents and encourage you to attend to share any concerns or suggestions in the public forum at the start of the meeting.

Highlights for discussion this month include:

Longhill Moss

This is an asset that is managed by the Parish Council and is located along Longhill Lane. The Parish Council will be discussing how to manage the moss going forward.

Grants

The Parish Council is reviewing the grant policy to make it easier for village groups and committees to apply for grant funding and will be reviewing the existing grant policy criteria. The Parish Council will also be discussing an application from Audlem Cricket Club for grant funding.

Youth provision in the village.

With the closure of the youth club, Councillors are keen to look at how the Parish Council can engage with you in the village going forward.

Assistant Parish Clerk

Final interviews for a new assistant Parish Clerk took place yesterday (Monday 24th February). Further details will be available shortly.
